Jacqueline is an award-winning Acupuncturist with over 25 years of experience treating pain, injuries and health concerns.

Jacqueline founded Acu-Pain Clinic in Markham, Ontario in 2000. She is passionate about what Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine can do for her clients. She believes that treatment should be relaxing and gentle in a calm and soothing environment to help the body, mind and spirit heal. She strives to provide treatment that achieves results that are fast, effective and treat the root cause.

After graduating in 1995 from Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy School in Toronto. She then went on to study Acupuncture at The Academy of Traditional Acupuncture in Toronto, The International School of Holistic Healing, Stoney Creek, Ontario, The Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine. Having the opportunity to study with different teachers and approaches to treatment has given Jacqueline a wealth of knowledge to share with her clients.

She is a member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.

In addition to working in several multi-discipline settings, she has been an outreach supervisor for the Canadian College of Massage Therapy at the Toronto Rehab Hospital, working with patients with spinal cord injuries, MS, ALS and other neurological disorders. She has also taught Advanced Palpation and Massage at the Naturopathic College. Jacqueline has also done many talks on injury prevention and treatment for The Running Room. She continues to enrich her knowledge with continuing education with a focus on assisting fertility, IUI, IVF, digestive health, buccal massage and cosmetic acupuncture.

Jennifer completed the Massage Therapy diploma program at Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 1999 and is an active member with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Jennifer has spent the last thirteen years working as a Registered Massage Therapist in various clinical settings within the Greater Toronto Area. Jennifer is passionate about the profession of Massage Therapy and is committed to utilizing her skill set to help others maintain overall health and well being and to recover from injury or dysfunction.

Jennifer has several years of experience treating prenatal and postnatal clients. She recognizes the tremendous benefit massage can have when used to treat common pregnancy and post pregnancy ailments such as back pain, joint pain, sciatica, headaches and anxiety. Jennifer has completed post graduate studies in perinatal professional development and is also a labour support provider.

In addition to her passion for helping people achieve and maintain overall wellness, Jennifer works with horses to help them in much the same way. Jennifer is a Certified Equine Massage Therapist and a member of the Ontario Equestrian Federation. She has been witness to the benefits of soft tissue manipulation when used to enhance a horse’s performance or rehabilitate injuries that hinder the horses ability to move freely and impact their overall behavior.
